home from the castle

: Sorry it has taken me so long to post. I had my sugery on 6/30 and was home on 7/2 with no problems. The first day I was really out of it but the second day I couldn't wait for the IV and catheter to come out so I could start to walk around. The sooner I could pass gas the sooner I could go home(hence all the walking). As for pain I only had it the day of my surgery, after that the only thing I took was Ibuprofen to help with the swelling and mild pain. Since getting out I have also been supervising my family in the packing to move, we started to pack before my surgery. The only thing that gets me is that I'm not the type to supervise, I have to be helping, but other than telling them yes keep it or no throw it out I'm not allowed to help. BORING.

Is anyone on alot of restrictions? My Dr told me that if I can tolerate it I can do it, but nothing vaginal for 6 weeks.

Hope everyone else is doing fine. You are all in my thoughts and my prayers.

Kim

congratulations on your coronation and welcome to the better side!

While you may feel great right now don't panic if you at some point have some discomfort. Remember to follow your princess rules and get lots of rest when needed, you only get one chance to heal.

My procedure and recovery went much like yours and I have not looked back since.
