Surgery Went Well And I Got Great News.

Hi, I finally had my Laparoscopic surgery Wednesday and was able to come home. The good news is that my fallopian tube was a hydrosalpinx with clear fluid... When I was diagnosed with this my fallopian tube was 5 cm by the time I had it taken out it was 9 cm which was Huge the doctor said....Also my first doctor which I had the sonogram from (in their hospital) had the report stateing I had a 5 cm dilated fallopian tube on the right to the midline.. Well they were wrong it was on my left side.. Which made more since to me because when I had my transvaginal sonogram (which is not supose to hurt ) It hurt like heck on the left side not the right so that puzzeled me because I had no pain on the right side.. So I dont know if this a common mistake or what.. But anyways I got it out and I am in some pain but not to bad it feels like when I had my kids Im walking hunched over but I feel good when I sit . I was in surgery for 3 hours...BUt what a relief(whew) my discharge papers say Lysis of Adhesions and Left Salpingectomy. But I want to thank all of your who posted back to me and emailed me as well. I love this site and will be on here to read others posting ... I will be praying for all of you on here you are all strong women . I admire all of you for that....

So happy to hear the good news. Yes, I remember your confusion at the left/right thing and am glad it's been sorted out. Kind of scary isn't it?

Well, take good care of yourself. Hope your recovery is quick and complete.

Best,
