vaginal stitches???
Yesterday I went for my 4 week post-op and everything looks great. My dr. said that I still have stiches and will have them for SEVERAL MONTHS. How long did everyone else have there stitches? Will I know when they are gone? This might sounds stupid, but after 6 weeks my DH and can start have intercourse again, will they hurt me or him? I thought that the stitches would be gone by now, what takes them so long?

My doctor also said the stitches could take a long time to dissolve.
I was cleared for intercourse at just under 4 weeks, so I guess I'm a quick healer. My husband did not notice any difference at all. I, however, felt a burning feeling, but not until ejaculation. I told him that next time he wasn't allowed to do that. LOL
