One Year Post Op-Yellow discharge

My one year anniversary is in 2 days. For the most part, everything has been really positive, I feel great! 2 things that have really been irritating since my surgery though are: bad acne and yellow discharge. I have always had acne, but now I have all over my body, in really weird places (like my arms and legs). I also occasionally get these really big pimple-like sores that are full of nothing but blood. I got one on my face (that left a terrible scar) and 2 more in my pubic hair. I talked to my dr about it at my one-year check-up the other day and he didn't have any answers for me. I haven't been to a dermatologist because my insurance doesn't cover it. I really feel like it's a hormonal problem because it comes and goes. Does anyone know of any pills that might help my hormones balance out? What about seeing an endocronoligist?

As for the discharge, he also didn't have any answers. He said that I definitely don't have any kind of infection. It's not like a yeast infection, no itching, burning, etc, just a yellow stain on my underware everyday. I really don't think it's urine either. It's really frustrating, has anyone else here had either one of these problems? Thanks!

P.S. I haven't posted here in a long time, but it was nice to come back!

Do you eat any food or drink anything that might contain a yellow dye? That might be a possible on the yellow tinged discharge. Do you notice that your urine is clear or is it yellow, too?

For instance there is a liqueur, Blue Curacao, that will make your urine blue. Freaky if no one warns you!

As far as the acne, that sounds just miserable. I have cyclical breakouts as well, but they are mostly facial or neck area and not so severe that they are troublesome. Sometimes I have a lesion that is a really hard knot, won't come to a head and if you aren't carefull it will scar. Those are sometimes very painful.

I would think a GP might have some answers for you about skin issues. You might try him or her and perhaps there is a way that if the GP requests it, your insurance will cover a Dermatologist?

Hope you get some answers soon.

It's probably not, because u're doc has probably checked, but could it be granulation?

Did your doc check your vaginal cuff and any other repairs u had done as I had a yellow discharge and it's granulation which is easily fixed with silver nitrate and it didn't hurt me.

I've read some women can get it ages after the hyst.

I'm 9 weeks 2 days post op.

All the very best, huuuuuugs

No, I can't think of anything in my diet that might be causing. Just heard about some "natural hormone" pills today that a friend recommended to me. I will post back when I get more info.
