Best Wishes to our Wednesday, July 21st Princesses!

Thanks Mary Lou,

I didn't realize so many other woman had the same date as I do. I'm feeling strong (I don't ahve anemia but I am 20 lbs overweight)....been exersizing a lot.....not to mention being on a cleaning and cooking spree (I have a kettle of chicken soup cooking right now).

I'm lucky to have a very supportive husband to take care of me.

In my head I think I will have a good recovery. Hope I'm right.

Thanks to everyone for all the valuable information. You guys are great.

Will have a TAH vertical cut do to large fibroids. Hoping to keep ovaries.

Age 46

Love, Barb

7/21/ yikes

Marylou,

Yikes! Are you sure?? (just kidding)
I am as ready as I can be considering in the last 3 weeks I have had a colonoscopy, Mammo films/ultrasound/& biopsy.Plus an abnormal Ekg which I have to go have a stress test tomorrow at 7:00AM. And all the other pre-op work.
I will know my results from the breast biopsy tomorrow along with the stress test. Hopefully nothing will interfere with this TAH/BSO. endometrial cancer
I was suppose to use this time to prepare, but it seems I am fasting and running to the hospital non stop. So much for stress relief!! LOL
I too have a wonderful DH, DD,and DS along with family & friends who are fully supportive.
To all LIW who have the same date scheduled at the castle, you are in my thoughts & prayers.

Best Wishes to our Wednesday, July 21st Princesses!

Dear Marylou

Thank you so much for your well wishes. Just starting to get nervous. I have been going a hundred miles an hour trying to get things done at work (still have a weeks worth to do in two days) and at home. Crazy hours - so little time to think about the upcoming big day - and to top it off I have had incrediable cramps and the usual PMS crap for 1-1/2 weeks and started my period today. UGH!

I am hoping for a successful surgery and good recovery. My husband and my two grown children, sisters and best friends are all close by and offer great support.

Again, thanks for your well wished and good luck to all the other July 21st women!
