CT scan for ovarian mass

First, I agree with Karenann.

Second, I also have a misplaced loop of bowel, or whatever it's called. I have persistent tugging and some pain (not bad, just annoying) in one area. After a full bimanual exam, my doctor said that sometimes intestines do funny things once they're put back into the body after surgery.

My little weird spot is at the intersection of the small and large intestines. He says it's really common, especially when coupled with nearby adhesions. In some cases, it can cause problems (vomiting, severe pain), and they will go back in to correct surgically. I am not having those problems at all. Just knowing what it is, and hearing my doctor say, "I can definitely tell you it's not cancer," makes me feel a lot better.

Maybe this tugging -- which I'm always aware of -- is there to remind me to try to do healthy things for my body. I've been eating way too much chocolate lately, but I put it all in a bag in and made a friend take it home two days ago, so there's now none in my house. :-)
