daughter's bone marrow biopsy results tomorrow, prayers please

Hello, 2 months ago today I had my TAH/BSO. I'm feeling wonderful- and there are wonderful things happening in my family as well as very concerning. While I was in Las Vegas last week for the birth of my 3rd grandchild, I got news that my middle daughter Marina- age 28- was quite ill. At first the Drs. thought it was a case of food poisening, but she didn't get well. Very high fever, vomiting and diarrhea. Sadly, she and her husband are both hiv positive- but she has been doing so well that she has been off all meds for about a year. So, the clinic (Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN- one of the finest research hospitals in the world- Thank God) told her to meet her Dr. at the Vandy ER last Tuesday. She was dehydrated and her counts were off so they admitted her. She had a spinal tap, which was clear and they have been monitoring her blood levels, then scheduled the bone marrow biopsy for today. Thankfully , I got back home on Saturday, after spending 10 days helping my youngest daughter after her C-section, so I could see her. Marina said this procedure was the worst she's ever gone through- it must have been pretty awful, because she's a tough little girl (4' 8")! All during this , my oldest daughter has taken vacation days to care for Marina's 2 sons, ages 8 and 21 mo. so her husband could visit her and also continue to work. We will get the results of the biopsy tomorrow, and we really need everyone's prayers. The Drs. think it may be cancer and of course she is terrified and the rest of the family is also. Through all this, I am so grateful that I have a family that sticks together through all good and bad. So, please, if you would, say a prayer for Marina and her sons, and our whole family. Thank you, sisters..... Lydia

Thank you both, and any others who kept us in their prayers. The preliminary report says "no cancer", which is the best news. But, her counts are so bad now that she is being put back on the hiv meds- 7 pills in the am and 7 at night. Hopefully, they will soon have her counts back to a "normal" reading. Thank you so much again. Lydia
