just a follow up...

this is just a follow up to my experience..

my dr. did do his best to take care of the terrible situation..a guest relations manager talked to my hubby, called me at home, sent us a apology letter, and 2 free meals..i appreciated that, and emailed her with a thank you..but this terrible experience cannot be fixed,or forgotten..im still trying to let it go..*shudders*..i sure wish i had had a positive hospital stay,it wouldve helped!..but i did appreciate my drs. help, and even the managers efforts.....

just a follow up...

I am glad you got some response from the hospital on the treatment your received.

I had a similar experience with mine. Waking up without pain meds and taking a long time to get under control. I also had to keep on the nurses to bring my pain meds once the IV was removed. The pump malfunctioned constantly when I had demoral via IV, and would have to beg for a booster to get it under control again.
In a 2 day stay I had my meals either not show up at all, or be wrong. Oh, and if you ever see "Cream Soup" on your tray, might as well just drink the juice, eat the popsicle and smile, because all that soup is good for is gluing stuff together.
I also went for 8 hours after my surgery waiting for the pump for my legs.
