a few kinda personal questions...

i noticed a few things today...

#1,my Vivelle Dot was starting to itch..(i was to take it off this afternoon)..i peeled it off,and put on a new one, different spot, with alcohol, let it dry..the old dot area is broken out..any idea why??..i put it on thu. afternoon, and had no problem with it til earlier tonight, when it started itching terribly!..its cleared up somewhat since removing it..
#2-this ones kinda yukky, but i gotta ask!..i noticed just last night, that when i pulled my panties down, they were pretty wet,and had some dark grayish stuff on em..nothing really when i wipe, and no bleeding..what is this stuff??..*blushes*..
#3..anyone else had weird/bad dreams since your surgery??..im hoping its not just me!..

as always,thanks for your input!..Melly

a few kinda personal questions...

Hello!

I can't help you with your first question, but I think I can for the other two...

the grayish discharge is most likely dissolving stitches. You will probably feel happier giving the dr's office a quick call to check, but that is what it sounds like. --- Is there a smell, ??? if you have a new/bad smell then you ABSOLUTELY should call the dr.

Dreams.... oh yes. now, by "bad" dreams to you mean nightmares or sort of dreams?
Most women have both, and quite a few have talked about the kind of dreams! You are not alone!

a few kinda personal questions...

I can only comment about the dreams...I think it may have something to do with the anesthesia. While I was in the hospital I started having short nightmares that would just wake you up out of being scared! Then, right after I went home too I had a couple. It was right when I went to sleep and it would wake me up. I was having one and couldn't find my voice, kept yelling for my DH. Finally, I yelled out LOUD and woke us both up. Also, had a couple sexual dreams that were weird and really seemed life like. I even asked my DH if I was humping the blankets when I woke up. But, he said he didn't notice. LOL~LOL~LOL This was all just a week after surgery. It's pretty scary, but passed in just a few days.

a few kinda personal questions...

First: I do not use the same HRT, but I had something similar happen with the nicotine patches I used when I was attempting to quit smoking. Never got an official medical response to it, but I always thought perhaps I was sensitive to the adhesive used. I would ask your dr about this.

Can't offer any advise on the greyish discharge, as mine is typically a yellowish pink discharge when I have it.

The third: Lots of them. Mine always center around losing my children and my DSO. The one common thread is that they always get killed in one form or fashion and wishing that my final breath be the exact same moment as them. I suspect it is due to the anesthesia as well as possibly hormone driven or lack of hormones.

personal questions

I would venture to say that your alergic to the adhesive on the patch but it could also be the medication. Check with your dr and let them know what reaction you had. The grey is probably stitches or discharge from surgery... If there is a bad odor it may be a yeast infection check with your dr on this also... Hope you feel better soon.

a few kinda personal questions...

I have been having horrible very realistic dreams ever since I had my hysterectomy in April. They are getting less and less often at least.

dreams

I had horrible dreams for the first few weeks, which I attributed to the pain medication. I also had what I call twitches when I tried to fall to sleep. My body which "jump" when I was falling to sleep. OVer and Over again. I kind of thought that it was from a combination of the anesthesia and pain meds. I stopped taking pain meds at the 2 week point and these symptoms subsided.

Good luck!

I could not take the bc patch bc i was allergic to the adhesive. Take a little benadryl if it still bothers you and seek another form of HRT.

Understand

I just had surgery last week and gosh the dreams are horrible. Kinda like night terrors. I still am unsure of all of this, I am cramping and the only way I know to discrible it is like a normal female infection I think I might have. Still waiting on dr's reply. I feel ya on everything you are going through and stay worried everyday about what's next. Good luck to ya, wish I had answers for you, but when you get some let me know.
