Hi Donna

I try to keep the CA125 number in relative terms also. Mine was 2067 before surgery and 521 after surgery. Even though my numbers are still way to high, I am anxiously awaiting my first post chemo numbers. I look at my numbers in improvement "eyes".

Re: ca-125

I agree. While I know that the CA-125 is not a definitive guide, I think it DOES show how your treatments are going. And while I try to make that number not-so-important to me, I can't help but be thrilled that mine are going down with treatment. I'm scared that I'm going to be 'reversely' (hey, did I just make up a new word?) affected if they go up, so I try try try to keep it all in perspective.

Good luck with your numbers!

Weirdest thing......I just now realized that they never scheduled me for anything......I will call the office today.......

Since they have a lab there, I was just figuring they would get the results at my next chemo session, but I don't think the CA125 can be processed that fast.

thanks for the "reminder".........
