Lavender

I hope you are feeling better. As each day passes I pray you will get stronger and stronger. You are a tough and brave woman. Thanks to God and your family I know you will be alright. Just remember, God doesn't make anything we cannot handle.
Take it easy and get plenty of rest. I am so glad you have your church family and your sisters here for support.

HUGS AND PRAYERS SENT YOUR WAY

Thank you all

Wow, Thank you all so much for all your prayers and caring words. I have tears in my eyes reading them.
I still have my stoma.(we have become great friends now) and a little bit of a sign that the fistula may be healing. I think that the Doctor is giving me until February for it to heal then if it hasn't then I will go back for more surgary to fix the fistula. I don't really want to have it fixed by srugery as they said that it could happen again!!!!!!!!!!! So I am asking God to heal it for me. I do believe though that if I do have to have the surgery that He will bring me through it and have accepted that if its Gods will that I have it then I will have it. I would love to know of anyone else who has had complacitions like mine. I know of nobody else who has had this and this makes me a little scared. So if anyone knows anything about this I would love to know more.
I am doing well now. Lost lots of weight ( a REAL bonus) and am feeling quite well. I get days that I am just a bit down but I just get into Gods word and then I am on top again.
Well I must go now as its late and am getting tired. Love and thanks to you all. Beth (lavender43)

Hi Lavendar

It has been a long time since I have seen you post here. I am so glad you are doing ok.
I don't know of anybody with this type of complication, so I can't really give any advice. I just want you to know that I will keep you in my prayers that you don't need another surgery. If you should need surgery to repair it, your faith in God will get you through it again.
I've had a gallbladder surgery since my hyst in May. I recovered quickly from it. I am now going through testing for possible colon and rectal complications. I have also been diagnosed with a rectocele, which I may need to get repaired. I am also putting my trust in God, and know he will be there for me. I will do whatever is needed to make me feel 100% again.

I hope you feel like new soon.

Peggy

Hello

Hi there, You sound like you have much troubles going on. When will you have the tests? I pray that it will be somethig simple that the drs can fix easily. I don't think that I appreciated my good health when I had it. But really I am feeling quiet well. Must go now hope to hear from you soon, love to keep in touch. Regards Beth.

8 months

Hi all you special sisters, Just keeping you all up to date with me. It has been 8 months now that I have had the stoma and I feel that the fistula has started to heal....Praise and Thanks to God. I will know more soon when I go to have another x ray to see if the fistula has shrunk. The surgerns want to send me to Brisbane to a specialist to get it fixed. My doc is saying to me that it is ok to wait and see if it heals itself. He is a Christian also so he understands how God can heal. I am just thankful that I have only had this after reading some of the stories on here that some of you poor ladies have gone and going through. You are all so brave and strong. I pray that you will all find the strength in God to keep you going. Without Him I would be in a mental home right now. He has been my absoulate Strength and Strong Tower. He has carried me lots and I know that He will carry me again if I need it. I just have to praise Him now for all that He has done for me and for what He is going to do in the future.
Will keep you posted on my progress. love from Beth. (lavender43)

Beth,

Wow, you certainly deserve to feel better. Your faith is so strong and a good attitude is everything. Your spirituality has kept you strong and I am so very happy that you are feeling good again. This is something that many take for granted, only to rediscover the wonder of all after something of this magnitude strikes.

Things just feel better, look better, smell better, and taste better now, huh?.........continued healing to you! God bless!

Love,

Jackie
