Platelets--I've Even Tried Platelets Fooling Around with Each Other

By the time I got ready to go to the clinic I was tring everything to get the platelets going. Then I tried visualizing the female platelets getting made up and making eyes at the male platelets, who got certain ideas and my bone marrow was one busy little platelet nursery. Guess that doesn't work...

So sorry to hear of your delay in Chemo. It's hard when you are ready mentally and emotionally.
I loved your platelete visualization! Keep up your sense of humor.

This stinks! I know how hard it is. You just want to get on with it and get it over with.

Why don't you want to take Neulasta? One of my friends took it after her second chemo had to be delayed. She took Neulasta after each chemo and it worked like a charm. She never had to delay another treatment. The only side effect was fairly mild hip bone pain if she walked too much but that happened only once. She was a teacher and continued to teach everyday.

I loved your visualization! Keep it up, it may work yet!

So sorry your platlettes are being so naughty. I think your imagery is great. I remember I made up a song to get my neutraphils up in time for chemo. If I could carry a tune I would sing it for you.

Keep on going. Your working hard surely those cancer cells are getting weaker and weaker.

I loved your vision of the female and male platlets, just think of the Neulasta as the viagra for the male platlets. I hope it works and that you won't have to delay anymore chemos.

Best wishes and God Bless
