Hello everyone. I made my doctor appointment on August 4 and thought I 'd check in. My doctor said that the last pathologist report did confirm PEComa Sarcoma. The treatment is a hysterectomy which I had already. Then with not knowing if this will return ,I will have pelvic exams every three months and a chest xray. Every six months I will have a CT scan. Usually a CTscan is done every three months for this type of cancer. The reason why I don't have to have one every three is because I had no mitotic rate(Meaning the cells weren't dividing in my tumor). My doc also said that the tumor did not look malignant. With this type of cancer though he can't be 100% . Close follow up is recommend for the rest of my life. I agree. Hope everyone is doing well and as always you all are in my prayers!
