Folic Acid?
I have seen in many posts that folic acid is useful in suppressing HPV. My question is, how much is enough? It is in my multi-vitamin, but should I be taking more? I have had a LEEP in Jan for CINIII and just had another for CINII. My doctor hasn't mentioned taking this, but I have seen it a lot in others postings. If it will help, I am definitely willing to try it! What is the recommended dosage? Thanks so much!

Folic Acid?
The U.S. recommended daily allowance is 400 mcg/day. If you want to take a higher dose, please consult with your doctor. I take 800 mcg/day. I know others who take higher doses than that.
Good luck!

Folic Acid?
I just read a short paragraph in Prevention magazine that adding B6 to the folic acid increased its ability to shut down the HPV.
Check what levels are in your multivitamin--it can vary wildly, but a good B complex on top of the multi is usually not a problem.
Do divide the doses since you can only absorb so much at a time.
