stomach problems

Thanks to everyone for your replies. I started feeling better for a couple days, but now it's worse again. I started bleeding with my bowel movements and I had a couple URGENT incidences where I almost didn't make it to the bathroom. I now just have that mucus coming out. I still have 2 1/2 weeks until my sigmoidoscopy. If I start bleeding anymore I will call my doctor and see if she can get them to make my appointment for sooner. She wanted me to call her if things got worse and they look like they are heading in that direction *sigh* I just hope I'm oka

Charlene George ..............those are my exact symptoms, except that I do have alot of pain and as I said, blood in my stools. Let me know what you find out.

I'll keep you all posted. Thanks so much for the support

pasedechat, if you remember me, i asked a couple ?? on gerd surgery. I have mucus in my stool also. My stomach hurts and i am so gassy. My doc put me back on prevacid when i was having my heart checked out. I do get stomach pains and geez i cant eat a couple bits with out burping or hiccupping. I go about two or three times in the morning. And i asked if my chest pains were my stomach, but they are not. coming from the heart area somewhere. I feel for you, i also lost another 6 lbs. angie

stomach problems

I have a friend that just got out of the hospital that had the same symptoms the you have. She was very dehydratred and it all started with an antibiotic she was on. If I heard her correctly she said the bad bactieria took over the bad stuff. SHe is on a high dose of acidopholis or yougart. It has taken her WEEKS to get close to back to her old self.
I hope you get help soon....

I would love to chat with you more about GERD surgery but I want you to get well first.

Take Care,
