Bladder Spasms?!?

I am having this pain in my bladder it is felling like something is trying to ocme out when I start to urinate and at the end of urination. Something sharp. Could this be an infection or just spasms or a kidney stone or what?? It has been going on for a while now but I am starting to worry. I am 5 weeks postop.

Bladder Spasms?!?

You should call your doctor to report this symptom. I'll bet they will first want to rule out a UTI or bladder infection. It should be as simple as giving a urine sample to start.

Try not to worry, but do call!!!!

Take care.

Bladder Spasms

I just went to the doctor today with the bladder spasms. She told me that it was bladder spasms due to the fact she had to move it around while doing my hystie. I am only 2 weeks post op. I don't have the pain in the beginning only at the end of urination. I'd call the doctor to rule out an infection which I guess is pretty frequent according to all the messages I've been reading. Good luck.
