Did anyone have carcinoma insitu before their hysterectomy? I had my op. on 29th August 2000 and just received results of my vault smear and my gyno. wants to reassess me as there is an abnormality. Not sure what that means, All I know is that I am really scared. I thought it would be all over when I had my hysterectomy. Please help I can't seem to get it together right now, usually I am very level headed. thanks again

What happens if I still have the pre cancerous cells. how is it treated. I am so stressed. another

Yes, I had carcinoma in situ and had a tvh. I went to the doc for my pap and everything came back okay. I can understand you being upset, but keep in mind that a lot of paps come back and they are not correct. Will the doc take a CA125 test? When are you going to see him? Please try to calm down...take a deep breath, and try to clear your mind. You need to talk to your doc and find out what will be done next. All of this worrying is not helping you out at all! You need answers, and you need them asap! Please know that you are not alone! We are all here to help in anyway we can! Take care!!
