trying to gain weight

hi i had hysterectomy Aug 9 for Squamous cell Carinoma in situ.
just wondering if anyone has had trouble gaining weight?
also can those cells come back after hysterectomy?
What are the chances?

he said cancer?
Is that cancer or pre cancer cells?

Hi Shell, i lost about 10 pounds durung surgery,recovery and treatment, but gained it back and am now back in my pre surgery range.
There is always a chance that cancer can come back, which is why you should have frequent check ups, especailly at first. If there is a recurrance, frequent check ups will catch it at the earliest, treatable stage. Carcinoma in situ means early cancer that has not spread and the prognosis is excellent, but yoiu should still have frequent check ups.
