Silver Nitrate treatment again?

Hi
About a month ago, I was treated for the second time for a discharge and spot bleeding with Silver Nitrate. My doctor told me that it should be okay after this but if I still have the symptoms to go back to him in 2-3 months time.
Well, it seems that the discharge is getting worse and the spot bleeding is more often, especially after sex.
I am not sure whether to wait the 2-3 months to have another treatment or to call earlier.
Any advice?
Thanks

Silver Nitrate treatment again?

I'd give your doctor a call. So far I have had 3 silver nitrate treatments (at 4 weeks, 8 weeks, and 10 weeks). Sometimes it just takes a while to heal.

Silver Nitrate treatment again?

Yep phone your doc and make an appointment.

My doc gave me silver nitrate at 9 weeks (now 15 weeks post op) I still had the darn yellow discharge and every time I'd phoned the doc concerned, he'd tell me to wait longer - if I waited as long as he said - it would be 22 weeks! (no sex allowed in that time)

Thanks to the lovely sisters here I phoned and MADE an appointment to see him this Friday. I want him to silver nitrate me again OR give me a definite time frame when I won't have the granulation.

I've been trying to guage how long other docs leave between treatments. I think around 5 weeks is the maximum, if we're going to heal we'll know it by then. My discharge nearly went away but then got worse again with red spotting and I lead a VERY inactive life (quit my job) because I'm stressed to the max worrying about it.

Phone your doc and make sure u get help please - don't put it off and worry like I did! Blessings and courage
