Blood clot

Okay, I have a weird question.
I know you run the risk of developing a blood clot post-op, but can it travel anywhere in your body?
The reason why I'm asking is, I'm 4 weeks post-op, and today is the 4th day I'm having problems with blurriness in my right eye. It is always there, but the severety changes. I also have a sort of aching, hurting feeling behind that eye. I may be way off, but the first thing that popped in my head was maybe a clot.
Anyone know if I'm crazy or not?

Blood clot

I have been wondering about the same thing. On the outsde of my left wrist I have a huge(large grape sized) very tender "knot" next to my wristbone...and also farther up on my arm I have a small marble sized "knot" up near my elbow which looks bruised. I had a very bad IV experience on that hand right below the knot on my wrist...but jeez its been a month. Could these "knots" be from the bad IV or could it be a blood clot??? Guess I better call my dr. tomorrow cuz I have been waiting to see if it got any better, but it hasn't. Anybody else experience anything like this?

Blood clot

Robin, you should call the doctor. I know of at least one person who had a blood clot in the optic nerve, so blood clots can happen anywhere. If you can't reach your doctor tonight, you might want to call the ER and talk to the doctor on call. It's better to err on the side of caution. Best wishes,
