3 weeks going nuts/and pain/swelling,bleeding, what else?

Hi, I am 3 weeks post op and having a really hard time staying good. I found that I have popped a stitch and started bleeding again. I did not have any pain for the past week really till I guess I over did it . I just increased my walking to a mile and I guess that was too much for me at 3 weeks post op( according to my doc.) Back on meds, in a haze again, and hating it. I am really hyper and am having a hard time staying good. I used to go to the gym 6 days a week and feel /see myself atrophying before my eyes. I have been through the marathon of movies and cant take the soaps anymore. I was just wondering what else can happen besides hemoraging,( what are the complications of post hysterectomies?), my doctor is very reluctant to tell too much I think. I am the type that needs to know everything that could possibly happen. My doctor is very vague when it comes to explaining. Anyway input form you gal would be great! Thanks for letting me vent. Laying low now in Tucson. Stella2

3 weeks going nuts/and pain/swelling,bleeding, what else?

I understand where you are coming from. My Dr. hasn't explained too much either. I am 4 weeks from a TVH.. I think I have done too much since week 1. I had a garden with tons of tomatoes and so I helped to can them..I stood until I was so sick I thought that I trully was going to pass out. Then week 2... we had ordered apples and so I helped to make applesauce. This time I was leaking from my bladder. I am now doing most of the house work.. other then vacumming... I have went grocery shopping by myself and to the mall. I have felt bad the last couple of days. I am only taking one or two Vicodin a day and today I swore I wasnt taking any but I just got up and took half of a vicodin. I took a Motrin earlier. I am starting to get concerned that I am getting a bladder infection. I debate everyday on whether to call the Dr.
I am used to staying busy and I hate Tv. My advice to you is take it easy... my sister who had it done 8 years ago ... said her Dr told her to take it easy now or pay for it later. I am trying to remember that.......................

I wish I could can

Hi thanks for the reply, I wish I could grow tomatoes to can some.! I havent had any good plants since I moved from Michigan, I now live in tucson arizona and nothing grows!! I hear these things from everyone about slow down or pay for it later. What exactly can happen later. What should we look out for.? Complication wise? etc. I hear you on the meds though. Everyne says they are doing just great on motrin etc. otc. I did for a few days but then found I really still needed the hard pain meds ,vicodin. the motrin just was not cutting it. I have not done any house work. i can happily say . But I do have two small kids that are probably worse than house work. just trying to get them ready for school in the morning is a work out. ha. Pulling teeth. ha. take care. let me know stella
