Enjoy a forbidden passion

Ok, I am all in support of the advertisers that support our site. But, y'all, it just cracks me up when I was three days post op to see a waving banner that said...

Lose 20 pounds by January 15th!!!

Today, the banner is Enjoy a forbidden passion....

Well, I don't know about many of you but enjoying a forbidden passion in the first few weeks of post op did not mean what I think they are intimating.....Let's see, in the first three weeks or post op [or so] enjoying a forbidden passion means:

having gas when no one is home.
overdosing on stool softeners to get some relief
watching trash television for 5 minutes before you fall back asleep
having your spouse tell someone that you are too tired to come to the phone when you really, really just don't want to talk to the person on the other end.
Having the housework done by elves [okay, I am dreaming here!]

Having some cute little cabana person bring you tea and fan you during your hot flashes....[okay, I am REALLY dreaming here]

None the less, sometimes the banners juxtaposed to the site listings like:

Ouch, bladder spasms, what to do?
What is this smell?
How much oozing is too much oozing?
Melting down and crying my eyes out...

just make me want to laugh out loud! Yes, Dorothy, these are our forbidden passions of the day....

Happy days everyone!

Enjoy a forbidden passion

Your post made my day ! I am at the 2 week post op point and the level of excitement around here is quite bleak -- I am not really up for passion, forbidden or otherwise !

Thank you for the hilarious post.

Enjoy a forbidden passion

I'm so glad I'm not a newly crowned princess (I'm 4 months post-op), because your posts would kill me with "belly-laughter-pain"!

Enjoy a forbidden passion

At six days post op, reading your message, did cause me to hold tight on my belly while laughing. I haven't laughed so much even before in a long time...a little pain with laughing is worth it. Thanks!

OH....laughing too hard!!!!

I have to say, that is hilarious! The most fun I have lately is having a hot flash and stripping in the kitchen!! "Whew, hot flash!" My new nickname from my DH is Flash! AAAAAAHHHH AHHHH, Flash (from Flash Gordon theme song).

I am having fun so far, the hot flashes are really kindof fun to me. Thank God it is winter! Could you imagine having a hot flash in the middle of summer, in Texas?! Oh man, that would suck!

Thank you for your post...it is good to laugh at something someone else says, instead of what I'm thinking

Hugs to you all!!
