nerves

I don't know if aunt flo affects your surgery but I do know that if my nerves are all up in the air then my period is off. It either comes early or it is late. It usually is late. I think that nerves effect a lot of things. I hope that this helps.

I can't speak for your Dr, but mine said she can do it with Flo...doesn't matter.

You may want to ask your Dr for a sleeping aide (Rx). I would think they would want you to be as rested as possible so I wouldn't think it would be a big deal.

could it be nerves?

Hi,

I also had the sleepless nights. I tried Sleepytime tea from Celestial Seasonings and it worked great.

Take Care!

could it be nerves?

I started my period two days before surgery. And it was the first time in 18 yrs that my period had ever been late. Odd. Then I chalked it up to nerves. They do the surgery anyway, I was told it didn't matter.

Hugs and good luck!

Kittysroar,

Many women have their hysters due to non-stopping periods. Aunt Flo won't make a difference to your doctor. Just let the nurse who is helping you change to a castle robe know so she can give you a pad to use while you are waiting.
