Has anyone ever had a cervical polyp??

Hello I have been told I have a small polyp on my cervix which I intend on having removed when I have a colpo/biopsy this week.
I was told I have HPV years ago ..I have no leisions..Just have battled abnormal paps and biopsies and two LEEPS.
Ive read that a polyp is usually benign........ Just worried and concerened...Would appreciate your input..Thanks!!!

Has anyone ever had a cervical polyp??

Yes, I have them. I found out about 3-4 yrs ago when I had a suspicious pap. Mine are benign. My doc thinks taking my cervix with the uterus is a good idea. I don't know if that helps you; I'm sure all situations are different.
Best of luck-

Has anyone ever had a cervical polyp??

I had a uterine polyp, which was benign. My neighbor just had several uterine and cervical polyps removed, which were all benign and she feel so much better with the uterine ones gone (as they caused flooding for her).

I don't believe that HPV and polyps are related at all.

Take care.
