Three month check-up -- Good!

Just an update to my latest 3 month check-up from Monday. I had my best scootch to date and the everything checked out during the physical exam. I got the CA125 results yesterday and they were lower than ever... 4! Now I just wait for the pap results.

I also was referred for a colonoscopy by my PCP after a stool sample came back positve for blood. That was done yesterday, along with an endoscopy since I have a history of heartburn problems. They found 4 small polyps [which were removed] and inflamation in my esophogus which was biopsied to check for Barrett's. She thought the inflamation accounted for the positive fecal sample. She thought everything looked good though, pending biopsy results and upped my dose of prevacid to deal with the inflamation. I guess the presence of polyps will make me a "frequent flyer" with the colonoscopies, as she put it.

And my recent mammogram was clear as well!

I had definately been stressing out over all these tests in a short period of time so I'm extremely relieved and pleased with the results.

congratulations Limo on such good news. hope tje prevacid helps. Colonoscpipes are no fun. I have had 8 this year to remove scar tissue! At least they can catch
anything suspicious at an early treatable stage. :
