Halloween poll...what are you afraid of?

Because Halloween is just around the corner, I thought it might be fun to see what things frighten us the most.

I am terrified of spiders and strange dogs

Halloween poll...what are you afraid of?

I was almost hit by lightning once, while working outdoors for a summer job (my co-workers said it hit about 10 feet behind me). Now I HATE to be caught outside in a thunderstorm, and am petrified of lightning.
I do enjoy watching it from the safety of my home though.

Halloween poll...what are you afraid of?

I am afraid of falling from high places!
There's lots of silly stuff too like geckos in my house, roaches, mice/rats (haven't had any of those inside thankfully but they sure run rampant outside!). ICKY!
Ahh the price of paradise!

Clowns, puppets, ventriloquist dummies and hard faced dolls. I watched Twilight Zone when I was a kid!

Halloween poll...what are you afraid of?

It's a phobia/fear I have had since 6th grade.... toy clowns. That movie "Poltergeist" did it. I don't like the mascarade masks on the wall even (if they look like clown faces). I am fine with clowns, just not toy ones.

I also don't like 3 ft dolls. Had one as a child and was a bit scared of it but my aunt/godmother has one she cherishes from the 50s her dad gave her. Since I was little I can't be in the same room with her. And even now at age 33! I saw "Candy" at my uncle's party on the 16th and told my aunt why wasn't she farther in the room like by the corner...she seemed like she was staring at me while I was in the hallway!! My aunt has dresses from when my girls were in 3T, they are adorable but I can't be with THAT doll.

The running joke in the family, or shall I say threat, is that in my aunt's will I will get Candy, it's one of her prized possessions as a child and since I am the closest to her ever having had one....her goddaughter...I shall get her. Plus she is saying she shall be in my living room for 1 year. NOPE!
