Happy Dance

Hello All:

I am soooo, soooo happy! I got some great news today!

First - I just got surgical clearance from my cardiologist!

Second - I just got my test (urodynamics) results from the urologist today! I do not need bladder surgery now! (and there's a good chance I'll never need it!!)

My wonderful, conservative uro told me that he feels my stress and urgency urinary incontinence can be controlled by meds. I never thought for a moment that would be an option for me! I had been preparing myself mentally for the hyst and bladder surgery! Whew! I am so relieved!

Also, I called my gyn today. I'll probably hear from her next week with a surgery date.

I've pretty much accepted the fact that I need the hyst. Although I am feeling so good (only slight cramping, a bad headache and one or two heavy days with my last period) that I can't belive that I really have anything wrong with me.

But, I will be relieved to have my "goober" (large complex ovary) evicted.

It's just I have no pain now - and I know I'll be miserable for quite some time after surgery. I just hope I'm up and feeling better by the time the holidays come! Hopefully, I'll get a surgery date in early November.

Best Wishes - Stay Well!

Hey FLlady!

Greeting from another future Florida "princess"!

I am so happy for you!!

One less thing for you to worry about! YEA!!

Hope you hear about your surgery date soon! (that was the worst part for me so far. I hate to wait!!)

Good luck with getting the "goober" out!
That made me smile! Such a southern thang!
