Need help reading labs

I am currently taking bio-identical estrogen and progesterone. I've noticed recently that I have some weight gain around the stomach and hips and I'm retaining water. I don't really have any other "estrogen dominant" symptoms. However, my labwork shows my estradiol level at 86 and my progesterone level at 6.3. I think I need to increase my progesterone because that sounds a little low. Does anybody know what the normal range for progesterone should be?

Need help reading labs

Each lab has a different range for what normal is. It is usally on the lab paper work after each reading.

For example on my blood work it says

progesterone - normal results......abnormal results.....range

My progesterone level was 3.8 and my labs normal range is 1-3 so even though my level is lower than yours it still falls in the abnormal range because it was alittle higher than the labs normal range.

Alot of times when you gain weight only around the middle it might be caused from low estrogen. The belly likes to store it in to fat when our body is low.

Hope this helps
