Hi ladies...what a wonderful site...I have learned so much from all of your questions, comments, stories, and shared wisdom...

However, I am still FREAKIN OUT!!! Just kidding really....although it is unusual for me to be awake at 1:15am on a work night.

I know it will be fine. I am looking forward to the recovery.

There are many of us who have been through it. I had so many fears and worries, that I put it off for 6 years. Now I wish I had never waited.

You sound pretty normal to me. I was hitting these boards at some odd hours while I was still pre op too. Isn't it great to have this place to come to when we have a question or just need reassurance or a hug?

I do so appretiate your support...it has been a stressful time.

But I am ready...I have sugar-free jello ready to make, bowel cleaner-outer on the counter...once it's over, I will be a new woman.

What's so hard, I think, is that I keep having dreams about being pregnant. I didn't know how much never having the opportunity to have a child might effect me...It's hard to sleep when I know I will wake up disappointed again....

It's so amazing, the power of the unconscious mind. I knew that I couldn't have a child...my great husband is supportive and encouraging to me about this...I thought I had dealt with this disappointment already. To have a procedure where there is absolutely no option, however, is so final...

I have no regrets. I am ready. But I am still trying to figure out what I have yet to learn....
