Question - Bladder issues Bladder issues

I had a hysterectomy in 1997. When it was over and I was recovering in hospital and they removed the cath I asked for it to be put back in due to the fact that I had to urinate almost constantly. They took it out right before I was released. Since then I seem to have to use the bathroom all the time. I get up around 4 to 5 time a night. I don't seem to sleep well due to that fact, am always so tired. I have been treated for UTI's atleast every other month. When I had a CT scan done in May they found a small growth on my left renal gland. I had another CT scan done in October and the growth hasn't grown any thankfully. When I seen my primary doctor Monday he ran another urinalis (not sure of spelling) and said there was no bacteria growing. But he mentioned that I have had blood in my urine the last few times they checked for a UTI. When I do go to the bathroom it seems like I go quite a bit, but am ready to get back in there a few minutes later. Anybody else dealing with these symptoms? I have an appointment with a Urologist in January but am getting real tied of all this and ready for help. My primary doctor said they would most likely do a IVP and possible dialation of the uretha.
Thanks and take care everyone,

Bladder issues

Hi I had a Tah on the 14th of Septemeber and right after they took the cath out I felt pressure and peeing every 10 min. Doctor gave me an OTC medicine when I left the hospital after 3 days but it never helped. Till now when I just went in last week for this problem he ran a pee test and said no infection it is just my bladder pushing up and that happens after surgery. Gave my detrol well after him I had to go to the family doctor. Told him the story he ran a pee test told me I had an infection and put me on Cipro for 3 days and was ending it out to have a cultur. called today and yes I do have a bladder infection with blood in my urine and high ketones put me on cipro for 4 more days then pee test again. If no infection I have to go on detrol. I am so mad cause I know I have had this infection the whole time that is why the obgyn told me my recovery is taking longer to heal inside. I am just praying I don't need any kind of repairs cause no more surgery for me the recovery is taking to long. Take care sandi
