A ? for sisters who had a rectocele post op

I was diagnosed with a #1 rectocele three weeks ago. I am still having problems and wonder if any of you have had these symptoms? I have pain in the middle of the upper inner thigh(next to the anus)that shoots into my vagina and rectum. Does this symptom go along with rectoceles or could it be related to a rectum problem too? The pain actually went down my thigh today. Boy, did it hurt. This was the first time it traveled down my leg. The shooting pains seem to occur when I am on my feet alot at work. I am going to have the rectocele repaired, because of the bulge sitting on the bottom of my vagina and the discomfort.I have also been having a stinging sensation in there. I have no idea what that could be.
When my DH and I were intement last night I seemed to dry up quickly and felt very swollen inside. Any ideas? It also hurt on the right inside area where the tear is.I am thinking it may be more than a level 1 rectocele. I am seeing a colon rectal surgeon in two weeks to see if there are other problems in the rectum before my gyn schedules the repairs. I hope to get this taken care of soon.

Thanks for any info you can provide.
