4 monther w/new pain

Hello - I am also a 4monther. They also found kidney stones during my TAH. So, I had a stent in for an additional two weeks. After I finally got it out, I felt great. I am only 30 and they left my ovaries. Starting about a week ago I have had a lot of cramping and pressure somewhat like I had before surgery. I am very confused. I had endo, internal pelvic varicose veins, and severe adhesions. (have had 6 prior ab surgeries, including 3 c-sections)
My family wants me to call the doctor, but I am afraid. I don't want to lose my ovaries. If anyone can help, please advise me. Thank you in advance. This site has been great support and help for me.

If you are 4 months out and having pain like this, you definately need to call your doc. You might have adhesions pulling on your ovaries or other organs. Regardless of what it might be, any new pain now, needs to be investigated. Your family is right.

getting it checked out

I think you can call and see your doctor, and always discuss options rather than just assume you will have to have your ovaries out.

Especially if this is new pain, you need to get it checked out. Some ladies have had other things that have caused pain-like gall bladder, kidney stones, pinched nerves. So please be kind to yourself and get it checked out.

The decision whether to keep or remove your ovaries is still yours to make, you just need more information.

's to you

Please get checked! Had a friend with kidney stent--and that had been a source of pain for her.

You've got too much at stake... Call your doc!

Blessings!

4 monther w/new pain

Hi Jissimer...............I hear where your coming from. I am about 2 months out and am having some of my old pains. Just in the left-hand side.....where my one remaining ovary is. I was having off and on pain in the beginning, but to date, I have had the pain for 6 days straight now. I'm really bummed about it, but I'm not going to do anything now. I need to get through the holidays, and then I'll see how I'm feeling. My doc did say that we could try the pill again if it got too bad, but I'm not willing to do that again as I gained 15 lbs. while I was on it last time. I think this is just something I will learn to live with, it is not nearly as debilitating as the pain was before the hyst, and keeping my ovary means way more to me than going into surg menopause. Hope all goes well with you, and let us know how you make out.

four monther

I had a tvh in june i had spotting for 9 weeks post op
im 27 so i kept my ovaries for hormones
now im wishing they took it all my right ovarie has another cyst and its hurting me

so they put me on birth control to see if it goes away so far the bc is giving me big headaches and i feel like the pain is getting worse

sex was great for a while but now with the cyst there its pulling again...i am glad i had the surgery i suffered for two years

i too want to keep my ovaries but im so sick of pain there going to do another ultra sound and if the cyst has gotten bigger then they'll do another lap

all the reasearch ive done tells me that endo attackes all those girly organs so i know that after removing your uterus it can still get your ovaries i hope thats not the case for you...maybe you just have a cyst like me

they can do an ultra sound to check...this is a rough process my heart goes out to you all
i hope we all heal and get our lives back im tired of dr's and pain

i love this site cuz here people understand
other than the ovaries i feel good i did start taking vitamins and it works wonders especially b-12 for energy
good luck to you all
