Husband problems, already! 1 week postop

It is very hard to stay in bed and "rest" when the world is going to hell. My husband yelled at our little girls a lot the first few days. I had to sit down with him and tell him that the girls were going through a lot. Mommy was not "Mommy" and they are adjusting too - at any age.

My husband does not fold laundry. He stacked everything and I mean everything we own in our guestroom in little piles for a month. I am 6 wks post and a lot of it is still there. It is really hard, but I am just letting it happen. I do the bare minimum and when I get to it, I will.
My husband was alternately great and horrible throughtout and after 2 weeks basically resigned. I just let stuff slide and that worked for me.

Try to drop your standards. Mine were pretty low to begin with and now I just clean if the health department might show!

I love my DH dearly, but when I came home from my hyst, I had to ask him or tell him to do everything. The dogs are barking and doing the pee pee dance and I have to tell himto let them out..duh!
I was asleep in the recliner ( my new bed) and the dogs were scratching to come in from the back door...I heard them and what was he doing, watching tv on the sofa next to me and I woke up and yelled at him big time to let the dogs in and how it ticked me off that they were barking so much that it woke me up, why didn't he let them in? He said he didn't hear them, yeah right.
So after that, I made him go back to work. I can't stand him home while I am recovering, it is more work for me when he is here and more miserable.
