Back from the Castle today

Hi all!
Glad to be home from the castle today (19th) after TVH on 11/17/04. Everyone at the castle was so nice and attentive, but I am really looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight. Pain is minimal and under control but the gas is driving me nuts.

My mom is here for a couple more days and she's cooking up a storm, which is nice; then I'm on my own after the weekend when hubby goes back to work. Kids are all older so they're pretty independent, thank goodness.

It's so nice to have a place like this to come to with people sharing the same experiences!

Take care everyone!

Back from the Castle today

Isn't it great to be home! My mom was here for over two weeks to help out. What a blessing. She went home yesterday and I already miss her. (she lives in another state)

Hope you continue to do well through your recovery.

Glad you are back

home! Isn't is wonderful to be in your own space.

Now you will get to heal at home, watch what you want on TV, have some quiet during the day, and someone to help you out in the evening.

You are very lucky to have your Mom there to help you out for a bit.

You are a now, remember the rules: rest, walk, drink lots of fluids.

's to you

Welcome home and welcome to this site as a new princess

I am glad to hear you were treated good in the castle, but there really is no place like home. You are so blessed to have a mom to come help you.
Just remember to pamper yourself and don't get stressed out over anything. There will be some good and bad times during your recovery, but it is well worth it to get your life back.
I hope you and your mother have some special time spent together. There is nothing like family and friends to help you through your recovery. We are here for you.

take care and get plenty of rest
