What about anal sex?????

My DH and I were talking and he brought up anal sex. I told him not in this life time would that happen here, but you know men. To them it is all the same, as long as they get it.

I thought it would be some thing that should be talked about for those who might what to, but are to shy to ask about it.

So, would anal sex be safe?

As you can probalby all tell by some of the things I've posted --I'm not shy to ask questions--- (orgasms)

Later ya all,
Cheryl

what about anal sex??

It is not for me thanks. I was just asking for those who might have thought about it. I'm staying away from all sexual activies. I'm still to sore to do anything. But I can still think about it. If I think about something that I have not seen posted here then I ask, for those who are willing and ABLE to have sex again.

What about anal sex?????

It never ceases to fascinate me at what lengths a lot of women shall go, in our culture, to please a man.

In contrast, some men have the AUDACITY to even suggest having sex with the woman they love after major abdominal surgery, putting her health and future well-being at risk. :confuse:  Glad to hear YOU ladies are drawing the line!!

What about anal sex?????

My hubby has been great. Yes, he is deprived but he can wait.

We like to watch the show Sexual Secrets on Discovery Health, sometimes we even have my teenagers watch it. So we talk about sex alot.

So when he brought put the topic of anal sex (no, the kids were not around ) I thought it might be an idea to bring it up.

Cause there are people out there who do enjoy it, and like I said I'm not afraid to bring things up. Someone's hubby might want to try it cause they can't have it the other way. This way they are educated about it before they bring it up, if you know what I means.

Hope that made sense as the demerol is kicking in.

Anal sex after surgery?

Actually this has been brought up several times on this site, so it is not a "new" topic, and almost always it the it is the DH or SO that brings it up-seems like a way to get around the No Sex rule from the doctor.

You can do a search to see if anyone has gotten an answer from their doc as to why or why not.

Here's my take on it. There is only a wall of tissue between the rectum and the vagina. The top of the vagina had been cut, sutured and if not then the top of the cervix has been sutured, cut and has some swelling and bruising. There is swelling, stitches and bruising in there from the trauma of surgery. Any forceful action in the area would seem to me to have the possibility to cause some damage. There is also a big risk of infection. There is also the risk of straining or hurting something due to positions. Doc's even advise against baths because of infection, and anal sex seems more infection prone than a bath to me anyhow.

I would put a big "Do Not Enter"" sign on the whole area until the doctor gives the OK.

And I think this is a question for your doctors to answer as there may be medical reasons why it is not a good idea after surgery-there may be medical reasons why it is not a good idea anytime for women -I don't know.

My hubby said the same thing!

I was like & then I felt like *punch*!

I also had about 18" of colon removed and rectocele repair and had/has stitches from one opening to the other. I told if I even thought he was THINKING of touching either he was in BIG TROUBLE!!!

While I'm excited to have sex again I'm also petrified at the same time!

Whatever sex you plan on having.......you still need to wait until you are healed. Why risk infection, etc? I know it's hard to wait, but our wait was the best 6 weeks of foreplay ever! Behave....and enjoy!
