somethings falling out

Hi. I had a hysterectomy almost 2 years ago and used to come here daily (all day while healing actually). Anyway, for the past week I have a job where I'm standing for 9 hours at a time and feel like something is falling out of my vagina. I think I read something about this previously on these boards and wonder if anybody can provide any answers. Thanks to all who reply

God Bless, Softy

I have no experience with this, but hopefully someone that does will be along shortly to give you some insight. Wishing you well!

Hi (((Softy)))) While it's always great to "see" you, I'm sorry you've come back because of a new problem

What you're describing does sound like you could be dealing with a prolapse of some type Since I had a stage 3 rectocele repaired at the same type as my hyst, I know first hand the feeling of "something falling out" One thing I've learned is that the earliest the prolapse is diagnosed, the easier it is to deal with. While, in my case at least, surgery is sometimes required, there are other means of dealing with prolapses, including the use of pressaries. Here's a link to our Prolapse Resources Library

Sending tons of s your way. Please be sure to let us know what the doctor says.
