blood in urine

well here I am 3 1/2 weeks out from my bladder hydrodistension and fulguration and while I"m having alot of pain still it's mostly at the end of the day, so that's an improvement over last week at work!

today however I went pee and there was blood in the urine....now this happened the day of the procedure and the day after but not since.....I'm hoping it's just more of the "healing process" of the areas they cauterized where the ulcers were but since I can't seem to find a darn soul who's had this done I don't know.....if anyone can shine some light on this for me I"d really appreciate it and hi everyone!

PS I did see my GP last Fri and I see the specialist on the 13th of Dec for follow up

It could be from the procedure, but it also could be a bladder infection. You need to call the doc as soon as they are open and get someone to look at it.
Hope you have a great Thanksgiving!
Hey I know its not a turkey, but it is the closet thing I could find..LOL

blood in urine

When I had blood in my urine this summer along with pain, it turned out to be a kidney stone. I headed to the ER and was shocked to see how much blood was in the urine.

Please get it checked out ASAP.

Oh ((((Gidge))))) I'm sorry you have one more thing to worry about

While it could very well be normal healing, I agree with the others that you need to contact your doctor and ensure that there isn't anything else to contend with. And waiting until December 13th would be a very long wait if there is an infection brewing

Sending tons of s your way. Please be sure to let us know what the doctor says.

well last night there was alot of very strange things in my urine like pieces of stuff and little lumps if you can believe it so I think it must be the areas that he cauterized healing and falling off (gross sorry )

nothing today.....so I'm watching it cautiously.....and if it happens again I"ll hightail it to the doc, thanks for the replies girls 's!

Hey, Gidge, how's it going? Did the blood in your urine continue? How about the other tissue coming through?

Just checking in on you....

it "seems" to have stopped, however on the weekend I sort of overdid it and put up the xmas decorations and lifted a heavy box that I know I shouldn't have which as left me with alot of pain and that "prolapsy" feeling again where something feels like it's hanging down.......my own darn fault though!

thanks for checking on me, I go back to the uro on the 13th so two more weeks I guess!
