3 week questions..questions and more questions!!!

My surgery was 2 days after yours. I too get tired. I was in great shape before the surgery (my plan was to bounce right back) but if I stand up to long I get kind of a weary dizzy feeling. I have done very little so far except small chores. Does your type of surgery mean you don't have a big incision? I had a LSH and posted today about my spotting earlier today. There are lots of old posts about discharge maybe someone else noticed black string. Freaky huh! I had a white glob of something yesterday. I look forward to being pad free. Take it easy. My dr said I would be tired for 6 weeks.

3 week questions..questions and more questions!!!

Dear Cathy,
I'm also 3 weeks postop from TVH and I agree, I think I felt better the past 2 weeks than now. I ended up napping on and off most of turkey day, and my only job was to make a couple of pumpkin pies. My discharge is mostly yellow also, or none at all, depends on how much I've been on my feet. Good thing I managed to get most of my Christmas shopping done beforehand. Guess we still have to be princesses for a while longer.

3 week questions..questions and more questions!!!

I'm three weeks post-op also. Oddly, I've had more discharge than in the last couple of weeks. I too, am noticing that I tire more easily than I did last week. I believe it is because I am doing more. Certainly , last week I was resting more and doing less. Now I am resting less and doing more. I get very achy in my mid-section when I am too active. I guess this week could be considered our learning curve week. We are figuring out just how much activity our traumatized bodies can take. In the next couple of weeks we will be doing more and feeling better. How are you emotions? I've been soooooo sensitive. I cry when I think of something sad, I cry when I think of something happy, I cry just because I think!!!!!!!

3 week questions..questions and more questions!!!

Another three-weeker here. I've had lots of yellow discharge, my doc said it was the stitches dissolving... it's a good indicator of when I do too much, because then the discharge is pink!

I was the most sore the second week, I think; I'm not having as much pain now, but I'm more tired - I think because I'm driving and doing more. I go back to work on the 6th, and at this point I don't know how I'll make it through a whole day! Hope I get miraculously better in the next week.

3 week questions..questions and more questions!!!

Debsk, today is the first day I haven't cried. I cry for happy thing and sad things. Normally I almost never cry.

Spotting is still pink, hmmmm.... Had to drive a little last night and I felt so woozy I went right home. Guess I need to take naps. Bye for now.
