extremely tired and short term memory loss 5 months

hello everyone,
i am 5 months post op (7/7/04) and i am feeling very tired and my memory is not what is used to be. i left one ovary and i was taking cenestin but it seem to make me irritable or nervous. But i seemed irritable before that as well. i am a single mom of a 7 year old boy and work 40 hours a week so i was thinking that maybe that i just over do it. But i expected all kinds of energy after my surgery and i seem very tired. Plus the other night i left my car door open all night so my memory is not too good either. I am also 43 years old so maybe i am just getting old (LOL).

Has any one had this very tired experience and maybe i am irritable because i am tired. However i really don't have any trouble sleeping or night sweats. i have backed off from the cenestin just to see if that was making me tired or what. I just don't seem my peppy self anymore.

Anyway just looking for answers if any one can help!!

GOB BLESS

I am only six weeks post op...so I can't say whether I have the same problems you are experiencing. Forgetfulness can be from being tired. Maybe you are doing too much. Can you take a week say, and not do any extra stuff, just the bare minimum and rest a lot?

I think it might be worth talking to a doctor about it. There might be more going on. Being tired, and brain fog can be symptoms of a slow thyroid, and getting that treated may just give you the energy you feel is missing.

I cooked t giving dinner for 8 people and I think I overdid. I feel very tired ever since, and I've been sleeping well. I'm glad I had a long weekend to recover. Don't have brain fog though. I use an over the counter progesterone cream, it seems to help me sleep and keep my joints from aching. I think it truly does take a year to recover from this.

I am almost 5 months post-op and also am tired a lot. Of course I don't sleep well either which might be part of it. Sometimes I think we just overdo. I worked the day before Thanksgiving and then had 9 people over, the kids were home for the holidays and we always had something to do. Never any rest for the weary
