was wondering

hi all princess
i have my surgery in 12 days omg cant believe it but i was wondering if any one has any of the following problems
high blood pressure,diabeties,acid reflux and overweight ihave all of this and i am only 38 and my dr has told me i have to keep my sugars at 150 or better and it has been very hard to do that, i am a very stressed out mom with 3 difficult children, 15, 14, 8
and i spend many days crying, angry i have so many emotions and so u can see why i have troubles keeping the sugars at normal, i do take medications for all of my problems i also think my surgery date is effecting me also and the reason being is it is also the anniversay date of my son who died at birth he would of been 9 yrs old, so am i being overly sensitive to everything??? some inputs would be greatly appreciated..

My TVH is December 7. I am overweight, type 2 Diabetic and have high blood pressure that is controlled by medication. I have found that my sugar levels rise when I'm under stressed but so far mine have been okay but I've not hit the panack mode as of yet.

I am so sorry about your son. You may have hit the nail on the head when you said it would have been his birthday the day your having surgery.

Maybe you could have the date changed? I know the surgery scheduling can be tricky, but you have every right to be able to make it a date that is comfortable for you!!
Do you want it to be the same one that is already a difficult date for you? Or you could look at it as a new beginning, of feeling better, etc.
Please take the time to address your feelings, they are very VALID, you need support, and this is the right place to get it!!!

but i know my little angel is watching over me
and maybe it is a sign for me from him....

FYI, my son's urologist had a son who died at a very young age from a rare genetic disorder, and his wife has written 2 very lovely books about it. If you are interested, please send me a PM and I will give you the details.
