Does anyone feel like something is falling out?

I am 1 1/2 weeks post-op from a TVH. I am wondering if anyone has had the sensation that something is falling out? It is freakin me out! I get these air bubbles down there sometimes too. Is this normal? I asked doc and he said that there wasn't any vaginal packing done so I can't figure it out. Is it just swelling? Everything feels so different. Bladder and back hurt too.

Does anyone feel like something is falling out?

Hi there!
I had the same op two days after you and I don't feel like something is falling out but I sure feel very heavy down there. I feel like I want to do pelvic floor exercises but know I havn't to(I think anyway). Also my back is killing me, I am trying so hard to sit with cushions and bend properly but still bad. I have been laying on the floor for a while at night and that helps. I hope I am doing the right thing. It is so hard as they say don't do anything but with home and family and when we are used to running around it is hard.
Sorry I am not any help but this site is great, not sure what I would have done with out it.
Thanks all you lovely sisters!

Does anyone feel like something is falling out?

yes. i have felt the very same sensation. as awkward as it was to ask about it, it is common. all of your remaining abdominal organs have some shifting and reassembling to do, so lots of wacky sensations have lots of totally sensible explanations. by all means, you will always feel better double checking with the doc. most health care providers understand that it is a very confusing time to figure out what is okay and what is not.

Does anyone feel like something is falling out?

Jennifer34, yes I know what you mean. I felt like a heavy heavy "something" was inside my vagina....and air bubbles too, especially right when I got home from the castle. Everything gets better day by day. iIf you are doing too much...I think you get that heavy feeling too. That is my warning sympton to slow down when I start to get that heavy feel. I amback to work since lst week and I am doing fine. Keep your chin up sweetie, we care. CarolynGA
