How are all the other "6-mothers" doing out there? Where do you stand? What are your symptoms? Here is where I am at:

1) Very frustrating weight gain of 40 pounds
2) No libido
3) Sleep difficulty
4) Sweating profusely throughout the day ( I go through 4 shirts a day)
5) Short term memory is a joke
6) Constitration is also joke
7) No pelvic pain, yahoo!
8) Still trying to figure out what hormones my body will expet
9) Thankful it is not worse and I am alive.

June 16. TAH/BSO
1. Didn't lose or gain weight due to the hysterectomy. ( I have lost almost 20 pounds since the hurricane though. stress!!!!!)
2. Libido better post-op. No cramping, pain, or constant bleeding.
3. I don't take any HRT. I did at first, but didn't like the way it made me feel. Soooo....no HRT for 4 months now and I have no complaints!
4. Acne improved.....then was bad again....but over the last few months it has improved. Face is clearer now than pre-op.
5. I do stay tired. But since we were hit by Hurricane Ivan, the stress of recovering from that and having to move, etc....it has taken a toll on me. Hoping to feel better (soon) with a fresh new start!
6. The big "O" is still fine and dandy. We use lubrication...but...then again...we used it pre-op also. So I guess no real change there.
7. Brain fog is a constant. I was doing that pre-op also. But you know what? I chalk that up to being a woman. A woman's work is never done!!!!! We have so much on our plates all the time, whose brain wouldn't take a time out every now and then? LOL
7. I think I have a rectocele now. Or should I say that I know that I have one? Is that something that goes along with a hysterectomy?
8. I did have insomnia at first. Now I usually have no problem falling asleep or staying asleep.
9. Sometimes I have minor abdominal pain. One day I was riding on the motorcyle with my hubby, we hit a bump and it felt like my insides were ripped! ugh! But after a day or so, that improved. No lasting effect. Oh yeah! I backed into a pole the other night and it jarred my abdomen, and I had some minor cramping then. That went away after a few hours. Where did that telephone come from?!?!?!?

I feel very blessed. I would do it all over again.
