What does a cystocele feel like?

I think I have developed a cystocele since my hyst. on Nov. 3. I was wondering if anyone who has/had one could describe the feeling.

What does a cystocele feel like?

for me it is somthing i can see, as well as feel.
to see a picture of one go to pelvic floor .com,

the feeling for me is one of an extreamly full tampon that needs to be removed.
sorry for the graphic description.

look with a mirror while sitting on the toilet,
if it is a cystocel maybe as i did you will be wondering what the heck is that.
im just speaking from my personal experience.
i told my gp its like having a penis in my pants, to which he replied, dont worry its no penis.

he wrote for the surgon that mine is very sever and symptomatic.

What does a cystocele feel like?

Do you have pain with a cystocele? Do you feel like a marble is pushing it's way out? Will you be having a hyst.? or are you having only the repair work done in Jan? How long have you been suffering with the cystocele? Thanks for answering.

What does a cystocele feel like?

yes i will be having a TVH with repairs, anterior vagina wall prolapse, and cystocel, now it seems perhaps a rectocel too.

i had a pinching pain and then a gush of blood then the next day again on the other side and blood. then a full feeling in the vagina. no more bleeding, my gp said that he felt it was the ligaments letting go as there was already damage from delivering lg babies.

the full feeling hasent stoped as i described (the tampon feeling), i have had kids and i can relate to it as a crowning feeling. the other day when i looked I was about 3 inches dialated with that mass. feels as though there is somthing to deliver.
its been about 2 months give or take a day or two.

i am beside myself.
oh the horror, i am squeemish at these things it just looks awful to me, i cant waite until (as the doctor said) i will not be able to see it anymore.

i could say its almost an urge somtimes to push its just there..augh.

i have a constant mild cramping feeling as well as off and on lower back ach.
my stomach feels bloated a little too.

pee a little when i cough, pick up toys i feel it there more.
you should really get yourself cheaked out.
does it look like the picture on pelvicfloor.com.

could it be some kind of abscess.
is it painfull to touch.
mine is not its just there..
i hope i have answered you question OK let me know how you are doing.

i see another surgon this month on the 15th for the cystocel, as a second opinion. and ill let you know if there is anything new from her too.
take care and do write back its lovley to hear from you.

by the way how was the surgery you did have.
did you recover ok was it painfull when you woke up.
did you have epidural and general or just general and other pain meds.
im getting epidural and general in jan.
