I am just alittle over 4 weeks post-op. The last couple of days, I have been feeling "heavy" in my stomach area. Almost, like there is a weight in there.

anyone else having this problem?

Had the same thing at about 4 weeks. Had the heaviness as well as vaginal pressure and for me it was because I was pushing a little too much. Stayed put for a few days and it went away. Pushed again the next week, same thing happened. Was worrried that something maybe had prolapsed, but it went away and 6 week exam showed that everything was OK. Dr. said the pressure was my body telling me to ease up. He is very much into listening to your body and pulling back for a while if you have pain or discomfort.

Try to give yourself more time to heal. If it doesn't go away after just sitting around (some times for a few days) then maybe give your dr a call.

Hope you feel better soon!
