HELP - discharge, HRT

Ladies,

Tried to surf to find my answers but hubby is limiting me to 1/2 hour max on the computer today - its just not enough time!! - but I know I'll be a good girl and obey..sigh..

I'm 10 days post op. Surgeon was able to do a TVH/BSO instead of a TAH/BSO which is fabulous and hopefully I'm cured of the endo/adeno. I'm off of the pain meds and feeling the usual discomfort. All in all doing great except....

I've been having watery discharge and slight spotting since I came home - She told me to expect this but I didn't think it would be this long. How long will it last?? Also, there is a slight odor which I understand to be normal - is it only me that can smell it or do you think others can to??

I'm on an estrogen only patch and it says to change the patch Sunday and Wednesday. Call me crazy but the days aren't even?? I mean, Sunday to Wednesday in 3 days long BUT Wednesday to Sunday is 4 days long. Is this going to mess me up??

How do I know whether the HRT is working properly?? I mean when I read my post it makes me sound like a crazy person!! The past 10 days I've had 1 night of insomnia, 3 headaches, I cry everytime the theme song to Gilmour Girls comes on the tv, wierd dreams where I wake up laughing or talking, I keep forgetting names of visitors and I keep losing my train of thought. Should I call my doctor to adjust my meds.....I swear I wasn't like this before.

Help...

HELP - discharge, HRT

I don't know much about HRT or anything like that, but was told to expect the discharge for up to 10 weeks or so. Everyone is different. As for the smell..I don't have any at all..hmmm. Have you contacted your dr? Just to be on the safe side?

Hope you can get lots of answers..
