Uses for Left Over Pads, Tampons, etc?

For those pads that are unused, stick them to the bottom of your feet, throw some soapy water down on the floor, and get your aroebic exercise!! I think this is good for those of you who are still doing the old lady shuffle and cannot mop yet!!

Or soak up your kids coolaide with it!! There are so many wonderful ideas out there. I am saving mine for when my incision opens and my kid needs bandages.... Hehe he is so worried about that still....

Hugs to you all

Creative Uses for Tampons

It seems that I read on this website somewhere a funny post about different things to do with tampons after a hysterectomy. Can anyone help me out? My cousin just had a hysterectomy yesterday and I wanted to refer her to this website and send her some funny suggestions of creative ways to use up these supplies.

Thanks for your help!

I remember that post. It was hilarious. My favorite use for tampons was, use them to plug up bullet holes. It was posted either in December or January of this year.

I don't know if I'd do this, but I know of someone who threw a party for herself before her surgery and used tampons as candles on her cake.

Creative Uses for Tampons

I had a friend who handed out her tampons to her friends with a black ribbon tied around it in a bow!

I couldn't have done it, but it did make us laugh.

I can remember reading one about making them into little angel ornaments for the Christmas tree--after all, the string is already attached!

I gave mine to my sister when Aunt Flo paid her a surprise visit while she was at my house. She was delighted to get two whole boxes of them! Still have a few at work to distribute to my less fortunate female co-workers!

Actually, I did use the pads the first week I was home, up against my incision to keep things nice and dry (I'm fluffy and have a bikini cut hiding under a layer of belly....)

i actually taped a pad over my incision to stop the zipper on my jeans digging in when i went out to lunch the other day!

(The first time i wore them i didn't and because my incision is numb i didnt feel when the zip knocked a bit of the scab off - mind you i'm 2 weeks further on now, so there arent any scabs left to knock)
