Uses for Left Over Pads, Tampons, etc?

I was joking with my sisters that I was going to attach some as bows to Christmas presents this year. Well the uptight one of the bunch was almost offended, so I went and bought sequins glitter and tiny red and green ribbon. Now everyone has a Christmas orinament with their gift. I'm sure everyone will get a laugh out of it, but I especially can't wait to see her face.

left over tampons & pads?

FYI it has long been passed on in GIrl Scouts that if you run out of fire starters you can always use a tampon. And your first aid kit should always contain a pad as they are clean and absorbant so make good things to apply pressure to a wound with. So there's some good uses for the leftovers. Anyone else have any good ideas?

My dd is 10. Therefore, I'm saving the pads for her. As far as the tampons go? I've heard some sisters say they've taken them to work and left them in the women's bathroom. Sounds good to me. I don't work outside of the home, but I could definitely take them to my church and leave them in one of the bathrooms there. I'm sure all those women, having to go to the bathrooms on Sundays, would really appreciate that. Don't you think?

Uses for Left Over Pads, Tampons, etc?

Some area food pantries are happy to take these supplies. Not being food, they're something people on food stamps are not able to buy. I can't imagine the helpless feeling of being on your last pad and not able to buy more.

What to do with un-used Kotex's and Tampon's

Thought we could all have a little fun with this and come up with some creative ways to use our left over packages of feminine supplies. for me I am going to use my kotex's for replacement pads on my Clorox ready mop also I am currently using on my forehead as a hot patch. Now what to do with the tampons...we'll I'm thinking they might work for polishing spoke rims on my neighbors Harley.
