I am excited! I'm giving my pads to my niece and taking the tampons to work.

Re: Excited to donate the pads and tampons!

Ya Know what ? I like the idea of putting them in the burn pile or using as a missle launcher!
I guess maybe I should leave a few for visitors that may need them huh?
Although unless they had issues like me they may not need a tampon the size of what I used to use! hahaha
Passing of the toiletries!

Re: Excited to donate the pads and tampons!

I happily packed a walmart bag full of tampons and pads I had tampons in all my purses and even found some in my winter coat pocket when I put it on lol! So glad that I am done with them! Launching tampon missles sounds like such a fun idea!

Re: Idea for leftover tampons/pads

Please do keep some in a ziplock bag in your "guest bath" near your first aid supplies.

Also remember Jr High and High Schools are always looking for these donations.

Cleaned the Cabinet

I finally had enough time today to go through the cabinet that held all of the pads and tampons. I didn't realize it, but I had so many pads of different sizes that it almost filled a trash bag. I must have lost my mind, because I had more pantiliners and tampons than I could have ever needed in my lifetime! I was a little sad as I was packing it up because I couldn't believe that I was suffering like this for so long.
I gave it all to my niece and brother's girlfriend and told them Merry Christmas! LOL

Re: Cleaned the Cabinet

Cleaned mine out 3 days ago. So many different kinds and sizes. I did save a few just in case someone would ever need any while visiting. Other wise I say GOOD RIDDANCE!

Re: Cleaned the Cabinet

I sure can relate, I ended using up all my pads to catch the drainage, but I am giving my to a place where we meet to do crafts, we always have young girls in our summer classes.

Re: Cleaned the Cabinet

Heehee, my 13 year old daughter just came upstairs today saying she was almost out. I smiled & handed her most of my stash. I kept a few up here in case I have any discharge as my surgery is only a few days past.

Re: Cleaned the Cabinet

haha, I am over 1 yr post op and my husband and I were looking through the laundry room cabinet for something and I had 8 tampons and about 10 pads stashed in there. It is next to a bathroom. I used to stash them in there so they were not in sight of my boys. We just laughed as we kept pulling more out. I still find them in purses etc. Wonder when my house will be free of them? When I cleaned out the "cabinet" I gave them to my sister...2 grocery bags full. Next week she is having an ablation.
