Back to the DR.

I'm feeling ok after taking a small fall on Sat. Night. The twinge in the incision is gone but Doc said yesterday she still wants to check me out. She is really thorough and I'm very blessed to have her. I've sported a very intense earache for 4 days. Shes going to check that out too. I take enbrel for Reactive Arthritis/Ankylosing Spondylitis and if I possibly have any bacterial infection I can't take it; it lowers your immune responses. So, I've had better weekends. I'd forgotten how painful earaches can be, I feel for those kids that get these often!!
Thanks for being concerned sisters, this site is a haven for me.

Ouch!

Ouch!

I get earaches quite a bit too and I am 55 years old! I think after surgery our immune system is thrown for a loop and we get things a little more -at least for a few months. I got cold sores all over the place the first few months, but now that has stopped!

My earaches are usually from sinus infections, so I have been taking Zyrtec regularly and that seems to have helped a lot.

I am glad you are getting checked out after falling-peace of mind is worth a doctor's visit.
