The chronic pain nightmare

Dear suffering sisters,

I am sad and sorry to say that a lot of what you are all going through is exactly how I have been feeling for a very long time. I am posting to possibly/hopefully give you some hope. My pain specialist increased my Neurontin dose to 300mg 3 times a day and after one week I feel a heck of a lot better. I can't believe it. I haven't felt this good in a long time. I haven't been able to drive my boys to school ALL YEAR and suddenly this week I have been able to do it and I feel wonderful. I know some of you take Neurontin, but I didn't know what doses you were taking and I just wanted to share my good news in hope that it may help another sister out there. I also started Dilaudid 8mg PRN which is also new for me. I was taking Percocet, but it wasn't working since I developed a tolerance to it after being on it for such a long time. So maybe for those of you who haven't tried Neurontin it may be something to ask your doctors about.
Just wanted to spread some good news

Thank you often are you finding that you have to use the Dilaudid for breakthrough pain?
